Skinny Prosecco Meets the Magna Carta at The Runnymede Hotel & Spa
We’re happy to announce that Thomson & Scott Skinny Prosecco is now being served at The Runnymede Hotel & Spa.

Located near Windsor, which also means easy access to Heathrow Airport, this light, bright and hotel is situated right on the banks of the Thames. As well as the opportunity to sit watching the floating world go by – the Runnymede’s grounds are plentifully supplied with chairs, loungers and egg chairs – water babies love its ‘hot tug.’

The first in the UK, this floating hot tub can be chartered, along with an ice bucket of something delicious, to glide along the river. Drink Skinny Prosecco inside and you’ll be doing a double bubble! We’re also fans of its spa where you can enjoy ESPA treatments before hitting the gym or swimming pool.

Skinny Prosecco is being poured in The Lock Bar & Kitchen and The Lounge, both buzzy areas with a loyal following. And while the hotel was built in the Seventies it overlooks Runnymede Meadows, where King John and his entourage sealed the Magna Carta in 1215.

So that’s the history lesson over, and back to the future we’ll be giving details about a special version of The Runnymede’s award-winning afternoon tea. We’re working on it now, and let’s just say it will contain all the cakes, scones and sandwiches that make the Runnymede Hotel’s elegantly British treat so fabulous, but with our own “healthy hedonism” twist. We can’t wait!
